About – Early Years

Here at Saint Mary School in Branford, we believe in “Educating the Whole Child” – and that begins in our early years program, which spans from Pre-Kindergarten (ages 3 & 4) to Kindergarten. In addition to taking part in an advanced educational curriculum, early years students at Saint Mary School receive spiritual guidance and faith formation. The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) shows the clear and unambiguous results of Catholic school student’s achievement scores in subjects such as Math and Reading.

Small class sizes enable early years students to get the attention they need from our educators to succeed. Our educators go through a regular process of evaluation and certification to meet or exceed all state regulations and guidelines. Many hold advanced degrees. Meet our teachers here!

As a part of our prestigious early years program, students enjoy lessons both in and out of the classroom that last a lifetime. Learn more about our Early Years Classes and Curriculum!
