Arts, After School Programs & Clubs at Saint Mary School of Branford, a Catholic Day School for Early Years, Elementary School & Middle School “Educating the Whole Child” in New Haven, East Haven, North Branford, Northford, Madison and Guilford
Arts & After School Clubs Mission
At St. Mary School, we believe in educating the whole child. One way of developing social and leadership skills outside of the classroom is through extracurricular activities in the arts, as well as after school clubs.
Clubs & After School Activities
Parents and teachers volunteer to supervise after school clubs like Art Club, Drama Club, Technology Club, Choir for St. Mary School and St. Mary Church, Yearbook, Spanish Club, and Fife & Drum.
These clubs are usually a commitment for a short period of time, typically 4-6 weeks, throughout the year. If a student or parent has an idea for a club or after school activity, we encourage them to contact the school office.
Representative students in 4th through 8th grades comprise the Student Council. Students learn how to run for office including speech making and advertising. Two students from each grade are elected by their classmates and hold various offices within the Student Council.
Rainbows for All God’s Children
Rainbows is a support group program for children who have suffered a significant loss in their lives, either by death, by divorce or any other painful transition. To enroll contact Mrs. Fresco, Pastoral Associate for Sick and Elderly and Rainbows Coordinator.
