Recycling Program

Recycle Bottles and Cans

Emtees Redemption Centers take an active role in initiating an innovative way to improve the environment and the community. Drop off your 5-cent beverage containers (water, beer, soda) at one of three locations and the proceeds from the redemption of the containers will be given to St. Mary School.

  1. Students – Drop your used bottles and cans in the bins located in each homeroom and in the office and lunchroom.
  2. Emtees Redemption Center
    690 Foxon Rd (Route 80)
Millbrook Plaza, East Haven
Mon. – Sat. 9am – 5pm.
Drop off your containers indicating they are for St. Mary School and they will be put in a designated bin.

  4. 62 Cedar Street, Branford. When dropping off your child or just driving by put your containers in the bin outside the garbage compactor marked Emtees. If the designated bin is full, just place you containers alongside the bin.

Ink Cartridges and Cell Phones

Please drop off used ink cartridges and cell phones in the box marked “Cell Phones and Ink” located in the school hallway on the second floor.

Can Tabs for Charity

Collecting can tabs is a great way to teach students about the importance of recycling and helps to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Drop off collected tabs in the big bottle marked “TABS” located in the hallway. And don’t forget to put the cans with the Emtees recyclables!
